SMALL COUNSELING GROUPS at GGB:

Dear Parents and Families:

Throughout the school year, the School Counselor may offer grief and loss small counseling groups for Pre-Kindergarten--2nd Grades based on students' needs.  Small Counseling Groups consist of a total of 6 to 8 sessions; one session per week. Each confidential session is 30 minutes. During the small counseling group, students engage in various activities such as, listening to books, completing activity sheets, discussing short video clips, playing board games, and making craft activities. Parent permission is required for student's to participate in small counseling groups and a permission slip will be sent home to be signed & returned to the school. If you would like to refer a student(s) for a Grief and Loss small counseling group, please contact the Melissa Olearchick, School Counselor, at George G. Blaisdell Elementary School: 814-362-6834.
