The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Bureau of Career and Technical Education, Pennsylvania Career Resource Network has produced six high quality pamphlets that are available for downloading and distribution.

The career awareness program helps students learn about different careers and skills.  Each month, a different career, skill, and job is spotlighted and discussed with students.  Please check out the following power-point for information about what each job does:

Every month teachers are given career awareness sheets to copy for their class.  Students are encouraged to read about each career and color the career awareness sheets.  Students will take them home to share with their parents/caregivers.  Please ask your child what careers, skills, and jobs he/she is learning about at school.
